Greetings, friend! My name is Mystarion. Welcome to my castle! [The picture is actually Warwick Castle in England.]

I must admit that I am but a character of fiction. I employ a scribe named Chris Colvin to imagine me; I was named after Magnus Maximus, an ancient British hero and Roman general.

To the best of my knowledge, I am the last of the fabled Knights in Shining Armor, although I suspect there may be other Knights out there somewhere who have survived into this century. I was born seven hundred years ago on the beautiful west coast of Ireland. My father was a Byzantine immigrant fleeing persecution, and my mother was from the northern, German-speaking part of the Holy Roman Empire. As I have clear blue eyes and reddish-blond hair, I am told that I favor my mother. I'm also a minor priest of Raven, the Native American deity who created the world.
